Fairyland Children’s Theatre presents a season
of wisdom tales from around the world!
Aesop’s Fables
Adapted by Doyle Ott with and music and lyrics
by Richard Jennings and Doyle Ott
Costumes by Patti Baugh
We offer the classic tales of Aesop told
through song, dance, puppetry and circus arts.
Our young performers tell both the familiar
stories of the country mouse and city mouse, the
tortoise and the hare, and a few lesser-known
classics.

Harvest at the Lake
Adapted by Tony Jonick
Enjoy a delightful collection of Native
American stories. Join us for stories of
Hummingbird, Coyote, Squirrel and Badger and
celebrate the acorn harvest!

The Girl Who Lost Her
Smile
Adapted by Doyle Ott and the performers of the
Children’s Theatre
Costumes by Katherine Summer O’Neal
A tale adapted from the Persian poet Rumi’s
tale of a girl who loses her smile. With the
help of the mystical Hoopoe bird, the town tries
to cheer her up with the best entertainment and
art the world has to offer. In the end she finds
her smile through a simple act of creative
beauty.
